We offer a two-year-old plant of the newer and still relatively rare variety Phitrantha Red Crystal, which comes from Taiwan and is among the most interesting modern jaboticaba selections.
This variety is valued primarily for its giant red fruits, which can grow up to around 5 cm in diameter. The fruits have a delicious sweet taste and an interesting appearance with fine ribbing, thanks to which they are easily recognizable.
Another great attraction are the exceptionally large leaves, which give the plant a distinctive tropical appearance. Even without the fruits, it is a very attractive collection plant.
Compared to many other jaboticabas, it should start fruiting relatively early, often around 5 years after sowing.
The offered plant is approximately two years old, healthy, well rooted and ready for further growth.
