Out of stock Preparing to May 2026

Annona conica, also known as Guanabana de Monte, Guanabana or Raimondia, is a small tree native to Ecuador. This rare species belongs to the Annonaceae family and grows in subtropical or tropical dry and humid lowland forests. . The tree produces white-yellow flowers, which subsequently produce yellow fruits in the shape of long cones. The fruits have white, sweet and tender flesh, which is edible and often eaten fresh.

The fruits of this species are approximately 12 cm long, yellow with white sweet flesh. Due to the gradual extinction of its natural habitat, Annona conica is included in the red list of endangered species. Growers will appreciate its exotic appearance and tasty fruits, despite the limited information available on its cultivation. This tree is an ideal choice for enthusiasts of tropical plants and rare species.

This plant is also grafted onto Annona cherimola rootstock, which brings significant advantages that every grower will appreciate. This rootstock is significantly more resistant to colder conditions during wintering and also better tolerates possible waterlogging of the root ball. This makes the plant overall more vital, more resistant and better able to cope with less ideal growing conditions, making it a more reliable choice even for less experienced growers. Another great advantage is the speed with which the plant can reward you. Unlike seedlings, which you often have to wait for many years, grafted plants enter fruiting significantly earlier and some even bloom the same year after grafting. The feeling of watching the first flowers and knowing that your own harvest is within reach is priceless. The grafts come from our flowering mother plant
