We offer a more than two-year-old plant of one of the most interesting varieties of the Plinia trunciflora species - Café Rajada, which is considered the largest known cultivar of this species.
This exceptional jaboticaba produces large fruits with a diameter of up to 3.5 cm, which will impress not only with their size, but also with their unique taste. The flesh is very sweet and has a distinct aroma reminiscent of coffee beans. The fruits have a thin skin, long stems and a characteristic spotted color, according to which the variety got its name "Rajada".
Another great advantage is its high productivity. Adult trees can set a huge amount of fruit every year and, under good conditions, are among the most profitable jaboticabas.
Also interesting is the relatively early onset of fruiting. While ordinary jaboticabas often require many years of waiting, the first flowers of the Café Rajada variety were recorded around 3-6 years after sowing, depending on the growing conditions.
