In our e-shop we now offer a three-year-old, well-rooted and mature plant of a rare Argentine jaboticaba variety – Plinia sp. "Campo Ramon", originating from the town of Campo Ramón in the province of Misiones. This extremely attractive variety stands out not only for the taste of its fruits, but also for its compact growth and elegant appearance with gently wavy leaves, which makes it very popular for growing as a bonsai.
It grows faster than the well-known Plinia jaboticaba Sabará and is also more resistant to cold – it can withstand a short-term drop in temperature to -2 to -3 °C.
Campo Ramon fruits are round, dark purple to black, with pinkish flesh and a delicate, sweet flavor reminiscent of maraschino cherries with notes of classic jaboticaba. They are juicy, refreshing and ideal for direct consumption.
This exceptional variety not only brings delicious fruits full of antioxidants, but also high aesthetic value - its small leaves and compact shape make it an elegant addition to any tropical plant collection.
We offer only one piece of this three-year-old plant, a true botanical gem from the Misiones region of Argentina.
