In our e-shop we now offer a three-year-old, strong and well-rooted plant of a rare variety – Plinia trunciflora Cabinho Café Ipuiúna. This extraordinary form comes from the city of Ipuiúna in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, where it was discovered and collected by the well-known collector and enthusiast José Aurélio Vilela.
This is a very rare cultivar from the Atlantic Forest (Mata Atlântica) and Mata dos Pinhais areas, which stands out for its compact, dense growth and spherical crown with gently drooping branches.
The fruits are spherical, smooth, shiny and deep black, with a diameter of over 2 cm. Inside is a juicy, sweet pulp that surprises with its unmistakable flavor profile with a delicate coffee aroma - hence the name Cabinho Café.
We offer only one three-year-old specimen of this extremely rare and collector-prized variety, which will delight not only with its taste, but also with its beauty and elegance.
