This very rare eugenia is closely related to E. uniflora, but has more elongated leaves and even more delicious fruits. It grows very slowly and can bear fruit already at a height of 15 cm. A small bush covered with up to 2 cm large red fruits, it is ideal for growing in containers in our conditions. The taste of the fruit is excellent without any bitter or resinous taste unlike some E. Uniflor. We winter at home in a cooler room by the window, or in a tempered greenhouse at min. 15C.
