Pitangatuba is a slow-growing tropical plant . Fruiting after only two years and about 20 cm in size, beautiful yellow ribbed fruit, similar in appearance and taste to small carambola. Fruits about 5 cm in size are juicy, sweet and sour and very refreshing. The taste is something between mango and pineapple. The fruit is also rich in minerals and vitamins. to fertilize it is necessary to have two plants and pollinate them. Photos of the fruit are from our plants that spawned in the spring of 2021
