Eugania uniflora red sweet

It is grown in the tropics and subtropics around the world for quality and delicious fruit, known as pitanga, or Brazilian cherry. The flesh of the fruit is sweet, pleasantly aromatic, with a taste similar to our cherries. They are consumed fresh or used to make various syrups, jams and liqueurs. It is a very undemanding type of plant to grow. The minimum temperature in winter required for fruiting is 10 C, but much less is enough for them to survive. These are seedlings from my fruits.
