Discover a unique tropical rarity that will delight not only lovers of exoticism, but also demanding collectors. Jaboticaba Eldorado comes from the lush tropical region of Eldorado in the Misiones province of Argentina. This rare variety with small leaves is genetically close to the well-known Jaboticaba Sabará, but surpasses it with its exceptionally sweet, honey-like taste and remarkable vitality.
Eldorado stands out with its beautiful, compact growth and forms abundant clusters of dark, shiny fruits directly on the trunk and branches, creating a literal fruit sculpture. The fruits taste like grapes and are ideal for consumption and processing. Unlike common varieties, Eldorado has proven resistance to the yellow fungal infection that has affected many Jaboticabas in the Misiones region.
The plant thrives in acidic, well-drained soils and needs regular watering. It grows slowly but steadily, and although it starts to bear fruit a little later, after ripening it offers a rich harvest several times a year. Thanks to its compact growth, it is also suitable for growing in containers in apartments by the window, on terraces, or in winter gardens

Instructions for growing jaboticaba Eldorado
Substrate:
Preferably more acidic and well-drained.
Recommended mixture: 2 parts peat, 1 part perlite, a little sand.
Watering:
Keep the substrate constantly moist
in winter, reduce watering a little, after watering, pour out excess water from the tray.
Growing location:
Home all year round: As close to a window as possible, with plenty of light.
From spring to autumn, the pot can be moved outside to a terrace, garden or balcony in partial shade.
Wintering:
Tropical plant - cannot tolerate temperatures below 5 °C for a long time. Winter at a minimum temperature of 15 °C.
For the winter, place in a living room, bedroom, hallway, winter garden or tempered greenhouse, always as close to a window as possible.
Fertilization:
Common water-soluble or granular fertilizers.
For plants under 2 years old, use half the dose.
Older plants can tolerate regular doses.
