The Chicken Claw mulberry, also known as the "Chicken Claw", is one of the most interesting and sought-after mulberries in the world. This cutting, fully rooted plant will impress you not only with its unique leaves resembling chicken claws, but above all with its beautiful sweet fruits, which appear on the plant even in small sizes.
The fruits are long, dark red to almost black and have an exceptionally sweet taste with a very high Brix value - they are among the sweetest mulberries ever. They hang from the branches like small exotic treasures and are excellent for direct consumption.
The offered plant is already fully rooted and bears the first fruits, so you can enjoy the joy of your own harvest very soon. Thanks to its more compact growth, it is also suitable for growing in a flower pot on a terrace, balcony or in a greenhouse.
Another great advantage is its good resistance. We have so far tested its winter hardiness when growing in a flower pot at temperatures around 0 °C, which the plant coped with without any problems. We are still testing the possibility of higher frost resistance.
